The first one was the shot i was most proud of for my first time out, and the second i just thought was a sweet angle. PLEASE critique these even though it was my first time out, I have no idea what i'm doing when it comes to baseball, but i really want to learn.

Thanks,
Drew

p.s. the quality is poor just because of shrinking the file.

Drew, not bad for a first time. with no exif info, I can't say too much. you need to watch horizons a bit and MUCH MUCH tighter crops. to me, they seem borderline darkish so a little fill light or exposure bump might help as well.

btw, nice timing on the first!.

on the second photo I would try to just have the pitcher in the shot. Im baseball you need atleast a 200mm to get up close shots. and something with a low f/stop like a 2.8

The exif info on the first one is:
f4.0
1/1000 sec.
ISO 800
WB: Cloudy

Hope that helps!

Thanks,
Drew
