Hi, I was hoping to get some personalized book recommendations.
I'm at a point now where I feel like I am much further ahead technically than I am artistically, creatively, compositionally, etc... I don't have any real photography or art type background, so I want to focus on improving in those areas.
I've been shooting full manual for 2 full months now. I know it sounds minor, but it's a big deal to me, as I've had my 20D for almost 2 and 1/2 years. If anyone is interested you can see some of my work in my zefolio gallery, the link is in my signature.
Anyway, these are the books I currently have:
- Understanding Exposure - Bryan Peterson
- Understanding Shutter Speed - Bryan Peterson (haven't read yet)
- Digital Photography Book Vol. 1 - Scott Kelby
- Digital Photography Book Vol. 2 - Scott Kelby (reading now)
These are the books I have in my cart on Amazon right now:
- The Photographer's Eye - Michael Freeman
- Learning To See Creatively: Design, Color & Composition in Photography - Bryan Peterson
- Photography and the Art of Seeing: A Visual Perception Workshop for Film and Digital Photography - Freeman Patterson
Any other additional suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
