I need to get a flash bracket to use with my 500L. I always use the Wimberley Head II with the 500L. I already narrow down into two brackets (there isn't many available out there anyway). One is the Wimberley F-9 and the other one is RRS B91-B. I am actually leaning toward the F-9, but would like to hear from those who have experience with either one or both of these brackets.

Thanks for your inputs, suggestions and opinions ;)

I use the Wimberley F-1 bracket which has the same components as the F-9. It has an amazing amount of flexibility for it's simplicity.

Other than the price difference, a comparison of the two on their respective websites leaves me wondering how you would attach the RRS bracket to the Wimberley II head. This is clearly a case of simpler is better. I'd go with the Wimberley F-9 bracket. In this case you know it will fit...

Thanks for your input :) I believe the RRS bracket doesn't mount to the Wimberley II head, but to the lens directly. And, that's the reason why I am leaning the toward the Wimberley bracket. Thanks ;)
