Also the new version FF3 Beta has color-management. Though you have to turn it on manually. The how-to is here: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=484291

Dude, you stole my thunder. ;)

Haha, I might be the only clown on this planet that doesn't actually use Firefox. I don't know, to be honest, I've found Firefox largely overrated. Yes, it's a great solution to the disgustingly vulnerable IE, but at the core, it seemed really lacking to me. It wasn't very responsive to me, and I found some of the key shortcuts very multi-step. It may be just an internet browser that's meant to load a page, and while it does just that, that's about all it does. I always need programs that can respond at a dime and handle a load, not bog down. Right now, I have 29 tabs open in Opera.

Ehh, ultimately Firefix is great, but anything compared to IE is fantastic. There are plenty of other great tools out there though, let's not forget that.

Someone recommended I try Opera, so I did. I used it for about a month and a half, and now I'm back to Firefox and couldn't be happier. I like the way Firefox handles tabs better, plus I can open tabs right from the favorites toolbar.

Roy Mathers,
I have been much happier with Firefox over IE

Firefox is much better because:

Better security, and less possible access to your computer.

Easier to control and clean cookies.

First to have a built in Spell Check which comes in real handy for the forums. :)

A very large amount of free add ons, from font sizing, flash control, Exif readers the list goes on and on.

First to have Tabs, which allows multiple sites to be open at once in one window.

Sorry Bill Gates, but Firefox is superior! (to me) :)

I use Firefox because it works in both of my Linux installations. IE doesn't. For which I will be eternally grateful. :)

Actually, I've got IE 5, 5.5, 6, and 7 running in Wine for web site testing: they don't get run for any other purpose, though ;)
