I have been hoping to get some pictures of Bluebirds for several weeks now, but they have been staying their distance and have been somewhat skittish. Tonight that all changed though. It was getting dark, so I had to use the tripod and wait for them to hold still. Anyhow, here it is, cropped and some PP (perhaps too much):

Thanks. I was very pleased to get them both in the same shot.

Thanks for the advice Walt. I have attempted this some already by draping a towel over part of the car window and taking pictures from within the car, but that only works when the activity is near places the car can go. I may try getting a little more creative with this. Unfortunately, 300 is the best reach I have, so I'll have to make up for the lack of zoom with ideas like this -- at least until I get a 400mm or 500mm lens.
