First "Mini-Shoot"...

So me and a friend were sitting at our local Starbucks (which just happens to be both of our places of employment) and I had my camera with me and he had his guitar. He's been asking me to do some album work for him whenever he finishes recording his songs so i figured we could do a "mini-shoot." Nothing big, just messing around. I'm a beginner so CC is welcome.

much appreciated....I'm starting to like the kit lens more and more...

BTW, anythng with a guitar in it was taken with the 18-55 kit lens....the one without was with a 50 1.8

I like 3 & 4, but I think that my personal favorite is #5 (although I don't care for the dark area coming up from his head.) Nice job for a quick shoot.

40d, 50mm 1.8, 28-135mm, sigma 105mm f2.8 macro, 430ex - still dreaming about the 70-200 2.8
