Thanks stsva. I got the 50mm 1.8. That's adapter looks interesting.

I have figured out why most of my pics suck. The camera has seriously front focusing issues. It seems that at 50mm it is really bad. I am going to post a new thread and ask for some advice.

Hi, I'm new here, my Photos were taken on my 400D which i think is the same as the XTi. Lens is a Canon 28-105mm USM EF.

touched up (desaturate/WB/curves&​levels only) on LR3 and Photoshop CS5

I still wonder if my XT is broken. I can't get decent shots with it if my life depended on it. Still thinking about playing with the focus mechanism.

Using a single autofocus point? Keeping your shutter speed fast enough to avoid camera shake blur or using a tripod? The XT has no center high precision autofocus point so your focus target may not fall where you think it should within the area of sharpest focus.
