Hi everybody, I'm pretty new at all of this, so any critiques/tips are appreciated. I took these at a daffodil garden in East Texas. It was a cloudy day, about 10 in the morning. I have a Canon PowerShot A630, no special lenses or flashes or anything.

hi and welcome. i'm no expert but you kinda got the flower petal cut off in both shot. i would at least try to get them in the frame. would make it a more interesting shot. just my .02 cents.

See, and I wouldn't worry about cutting some of the petals off. Just goes to show different people have different expectations. ;)

I like the way the first is off-center, it gives a nice sense of the overall scene. I'd like to see more to the right of the bloom in the second - simply because that's the direction it's facing. Nicely done.

Nice job on these..1st one has a nice artzee appeal :) And you did good with the light Yellows can be brutal to work with :)
