I have been posting on the bird site for a while but I think I'm more into the photography rather than the birds. It's a fun site though. I've been into photograhpy for almost a year now...still having fun and still learning.

I thought I'd see the reaction to these photo's on this site....making sure I'm in the right category... I think they are.

Any kind of response is welcomed including critiques. Exif inclued.

Thanks for looking

Henry

Well, I like them, especially the top 2. I'm not into macro photography much but they are all very sharp & clear. :)

Thanks for the response.. Much appreciated.

I didn't even think of Macro...duh! That's probably where I should post these.

Anybody know how to move a posting to another category?

Thanks

Henry

Thank you Gail. Glad you like them. It's really the 300mm f4 L that does all the work. It's such a great lens for just about everything.

Heck, I think they are great right where they are! But I have just joined this forum last month though so am not all that familiar with things. I'm grateful for your post about the bird forum vs. being more on the photography end of things. It explained a few things to me since that is my interest as well. :)

They're a good bunch on the bird site... I just got a little tired of shooting birds. Many on that site are "birders" but I'm not. I really like the challenge of shooting birds though especially in flight. It can be pretty difficult to get a good sharp shot. My goal is to get an eagle in flight someday... The problem is there's none around here. Now that we're into the outdoor season I'm looking forward to taking shot's of other moving subjects as in motorsports and some other still subjects as well.

Keep shooting

Henry

Yep, that is what I thought too...lots of great people with alot of interest in birding there. I have some seen some outstanding bird photography as well as some very interesting birds in the short time I have observed that site. :)
I think we have alot in common Henry, I'm seeking some good action stopping photos too. I just got my new 70-200, 2.8 a couple weeks ago. I love it but it is a heavy little thing. ;)
