I am considering ordering some prints from MPIX.COM on canvas. Has anyone here had prints made on canvas? If so, how do they look?

Since you will loose some of the sharpness of the photo, I assume you could do a print on canvas larger than on photo paper as you will not notice the loss in detail, is my thinking correct?
