Ok, shooting from the hip....

1) They're underexposed
2) They're OOF
3) There's motion blur

Ok, that being said, what were your settings for these shots? Your Exif data isn't intact. What lens were you using? I like the action, especially the kids falling down/diving in #2.

Thanks for the info. However, there seems to be too much motion blur in the head of the goalie's stick for 1/1000 Tv. Just my observation.

What time of day was it?

It looks as though it is getting dusk there. I would shoot iso 640/800. If these were shot at Tv 1000, you'll obviously need to go faster. You'll also want to shoot with a lens wider than f/6.3.

It looks slower than 1/250, so that's my vote.

@OP -- AV, lens wide open, AI Servo, center point AF only, AF subject's body (on the numbers), ISO high enough to get you >1/1500 shutter speed.

PS - Steady the camera with a monopod; it will help!
