Canon SD630 and SDHC

Hey guys. New here I have a SD630 and a 1gig SD card im looking to get a larger one and was wondering if the SD630 will be compatable with the 4gb+ SDHC cards?

I'm not positive, but I don't believe so. It's a few months older than when Canon started actively supporting SDHC. IIRC only the S3 of the pre-June 2006 models supported SDHC, and that wasn't well-publicized.

No it does not work
I tried it and no luck

I dont want to trash this camera as I love the 3" LCD
I wonder if Canon can upgrade it to use SDHC

Question is, do you really need SDHC? I carry 3x2GB SD Ultra II cards.. The only inconvenience I have is when I'm taking a lot of video. Most people also look at the amount of data lost if the card is damaged/lost. I would rather lose 2GB of pictures than 4GB.. I'm actually rethinking my use of 4GB CF in my XTi (have 3 cards).
