Snapped a few shots of these tree swallows and didn't even notice the mouth wide open stance until I d/l them from my camera into PSE. He looks pretty angry :mad: and SCARY vmad !!! .

Ha, great shot. I like the background colors too. You need to work on that nasty red fringing though, what do you shoot in RAW or JPEG?

Thanks Dave. I see what you mean about the red fringe (2nd shot, right?). I shoot in Raw and generally photo shop out any distracting purple, red or whatever color fringe (I believe I did it for the first shot) but these were just for fun and defintely not photos with which I spent a whole lot of time and effort.

Nicely done Michele. The open mouth is very common. I have watched them do it here, facing the wind and it's like a jaw breaker yawn. I think it's just cause they fly that way all the time. A funnel for bugs. :)
