And the first non testing or work picture from the 1Ds:  Town center by Tit Bonač, on FlickrLove the colours and sharpness from the old girl. And the high ISO noise is manageable with modern software

Its superior. Heavy and not as fast a screen time but the quality at even a humble 4mp is stellar. Rock on... Stephanie

I've only tried the 5Dmk3 out of the latest (6D, 5Dmk3, 1D-X ) and atleast the 5Dmk3 got much better overall quality on the images than my 1Ds. Sure the 1Ds is an amazing camera, still today and with good glas it can produce awesome photos, but it doesent beat the lastest cameras... atleast in my opinion. I want the 1Dsmk3 becuase that beast seems to kick most new cameras arses. "High life on low budget"

). Can't comment as far as exposure accuracy (the only TTL flash I have working right now is a MeiKe MK580 which also doesn't play well with the 1Ds), but the other features are great for our old cameras without flash menus (like setting manual power from the transmitter on ETTL/ETTL II flashes).
