A little hoodlem wandered through my office the other day as I was playing with some new toys and he stopped long enough for me to fire off a few shots.

This is Michael and he's growing up way too fast.

Thanks for letting me share.

That's funny--- he doesn't look like a "hoodlem".....he looks like an innocent young man. ;)

Take as many photos of him as you can, mine are 17 & 22 and not around long enough for me to even drag out the camera anymore.
Your photos are very GOOD.
Thanx for sharing them, and reminding me of my own Sons when they wwere younger.

He certainly plays the "Innocent" role very well. As my boys get older, they don't want to model as compliently as they used to.

Thanks, Tom.

That is actually a 580EX into a 45" white umbrella camera right. A 42" square white reflector camera left for fill and another 580EX hair light, flagged to prevent flare.

All fired with my "new toys", a set of four pocket wizards.

I was playing around using my palm as a reference exposure to set the speedlites manually and it's really a piece of cake - and yields much more consistent results than ETTL. Michael just happened to wander through and got caught in the crossfire. ;)

I really do like to go for the window light look, so thanks for guessing that :)
