first sighting of a blue banting

I saw this bright guy in my front yard yesterday, first time I have ever seen one before and he has not been back since :(

I couldn't get any good pics of him in the tree he was always behind a branch or something

Very nice. I will look for him when he flies by here. Still have yet to see one. My brother says they are around though. :)

Great shots of a beautiful bird. They're not the easiest birds to get shots of. I've got several nesting pair around here, but have only managed a couple of shots.

Congratulations! I saw one yesterday, but he was too far away and too skittish to get a successful shot. I think the last one is my favorite.

These are great shots of a very cautious bird. I have had them around the yard and feeders and have yet to get a shot at them before they fly off!
