Next on Fox: When Umpires Attack

Can't say I've ever really seen this but apparently the umpire said something to the pitcher the manager didn't like (bad, bad word), he came out to defend his pitcher when things got heated and the ump was going after the manager....which is a switch.

That's a first for me too Mike, I've never seen an ump going after a coach. Did you get the focusing problems straightened out with the 300?

It's hit or miss...about 80% are focusing, trying to find a few days to send it in.

Geat set. The one time I tried to get an ump and coach exchanging words they all came out as trash. The guy in #5 looks like he has Randy Johnson's stride...but right handed.

Lots of butts in the stands in Buffalo, I see.

I agree with Sledhed, nice batter shot in #6. He has his leg guard damn near to his knee.

I've gotten a few, but thats probably the best and weirdest I seen. Something tells me they won't be going out for coffee after the game to discuss politics.

I didn't even notice that, no clue why.

As for the seats being empty it was freezing, 46/47 degrees and windy so had a nice wind chill. They need fans, those red seats are startin to tick me off.

You are in serious trouble.
I did umpire for a couple of decades in amateur baseball. People get over the heat of the moment most of the time.

most the time...though there's one official if I ever see again it'd pick up right where it left off. He freely admitted to cheating for the other team...yea, me no likey him. It happens, but thats not even baseball.

This was heated, I mean to a new level of heated...being professionals I'm sure they'll get by it, but probably won't be sharing stock tips.

I wish I'd known but the paper ran an article on what happened calling it one of the weirdest moments in history at the park. The newspaper photog (great guy) had to leave early to coach his daughters soccer team, so he didn't get it! Wish I'd known and contacted them for usage....ah well, live and learn.
