I'm at the moment teatering on the brink of ordering a 70-200 f2.8L from B&H, the way the £ is against the $ means I'd save a whole lot over the UK price....now if I accidently hit that 'confirm order' button!!

I really like my 17-40. It's a very useful lens. I'm still thinking about a 24-70L but I'm not sure I need it. I have a 50 1.8, 85 1.8, and 70-200 2.8L so I'm pretty well covered. If I get anything else it'll probably be a second 20D body for one of the other lenses. (using the Digital rebel as backup now) Maybe I'll accidentally order one as a Christmas present but forget and put in my own address for shipping....yeah that's it.

Darn! I hit that 'place your order' button & my 70-200L is in the system along with a filter & a Sandisk Firewire CF reader! :D

With the exchange rate as it is the whole lot comes to just under £650, saving a few hundred pounds on the UK price! I'll have a bit of import duty to pay but still it's a great saving (we don't have VAT here in the Channel Islands which is even better :))

$69 if my memory serves me correctly. I've been meaning to get one for ages, if like me you use a minimum of 1gb cards & you come back home with 3 or 4 full cards having that extra bit of speed makes a lot of difference.

Lou, I have a pic that might convince you to get a 24-70...that is what this pic I'm thinking of was shot with on a 10D. I absolutely can't get enough of the 24-70 lens. It would be no accident if you ordered one.

Can we make a support group for B&H accidental buyers anyomous? Well the anoymous is out the window as our user names are on it. Um...the support group idea still works. :)
