I took the plunge yesterday and bought a 40D. WOW what a difference from the Rebel. Well worth the money!

I'm still fairly new to DSLR and practicing daily with my 300D.

I was wondering how long before I should upgrade. I want to develop skill first and not try and use equipment as a crutch, but I WANT NEW TOYS AND I WANT THEM NOW !!!

You might want to start your own thread instead of hijacking Hulka's thread.

Wasn't hijacking anything. It was a rhetorical question and more of a statement than anything.

You might want to leave the policing to the police.

You dragged up a week old thread just to say you weren't hijacking it.

Thanks for the laugh
