some nice captures. I love the look on the face of the last picture.

why is the one girl running through water? is that part of track and field these days?

It's called the Steeplechase. 3000 meters over hurdles and a water jump. I was surprised too. Who thinks up this stuff?

I think Tom meant pole vault. That said, I do love the high jump image. great capture. only cc would be to get the mat in the pic a little to give the sense for how high he was sending it.

Small world, I live across the street from the UD football stadium. These are nice shots, good timing, focus and colors in all of them. Backgrounds aren't quite ideal in some but not a whole lot you can do there, maybe shoot low and try to get them against the sky.

Yeah, backgrounds weren't ideal. Always a pole or wires in the way. It was hard to get good exposures shooting low into the sky. Here are two attempts...

They seem to be nice, but it's kind of like looking at thumbnail images on an iPod. Just a "little" on the small side.
