Ok so now that I've finally decided what I wanted the name of my business to be... I've been playing around with a few logos. Can you guys give me your advice and critique on them please! :)

Agreed. Of all of them, the 2nd is my favorite. I like the font, and having the letters centered in the squares looks better to me than having them hang over the edges.

You know... now that I'm looking at them that one is the one that is catching my eye the most...

I like the original font better but I don't care for the black lines coming out of the black "K" box.

Another vote for the original font. I wouldn't be opposed to a different script font, I just don't like the way the "p" and "h" look next to each other in the new font.

Hi
I agree I like the second one best, like the simplicity of the Photography font, which emphasises the nature of your business.
However, I have had a fair bit of experience in Marketing and would suggest that you now look at your colour selection, perhaps doing a websearch on psychology of colour and then try to blend in with your aims.
Also try the shadow effect on the KC here too as it will just lift it off the page a little to give it a bit of depth, or altenatively highlight.
Just my two-penneth, hope it helps!

Cheers
Huw

I don't either.. the only other script font I like has the same thing though  I tried looking for some new fonts last night but wasn't having much luck.... :( I tried it without the lines in the K box... but it just looked way too boring for me  I don't know...

Could leave off the shadow from Photography, cos that busies it up, I like the K, the shadow on the C could be a little less prominent?

Using a drop shadow looks great on the web, but generally won't work on other thing like business cards, shirts etc.

I would probably use both... the ones with the shadows for my site and online advertisements... and the one without for the other things. Thank you all for the help... I'm going to work on them a little more and see how they turn out :)
