You never said what you wanted to do with pictures you shoot. I can say with the Eagles, if you try to sell them or use them on your photography website, they are going to have a few bad things to say about it.

Mark H Well, that's one I'm stilling trying to figure out... I don't want to sell them off my site but I might sell them to a mag or something?? And I know that whatever I did do with them, I would have to get a release for? Personally, I'd just like to keep them and add them to my portfolio? I know sounds odd right?? LOL!!! Really I guess it would be up to the band and what they wanted to have done or not done with the photos?? http://www.tanyaeverettphotography.com/

They will get the press passed for you. Sorry, but if the promoters or Eagles press people ain't heard of you, you ain't gettn' in.

Jack I have contacted my local paper and they are putting something together for me.. I do a few things here and there for them... Not to sound silly or really stupid, but what is Getty?? Ok so can ya tell I'm really new to this area of photography? And I realize I probably wont get in, but there's no harm in trying and seeing how things work and what's needed.... http://www.tanyaeverettphotography.com/

I certainly hope that those that need to be there get the accreditation and a spot that they should have does not get put to persons that just want to do it for the sake of doing it. There are only so many spots normally and if your newspaper is trying to pull some strings for you it would be a shame for those that need to be there but can't. My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

I AM NOT TRYING TO TAKE ANYONES SPOT OR STEP ON ANYONES TOES..... AND THE ONES THAT NEED TO BE THERE WILL BE THERE. I want to learn, and what better way to learn then to ask?? I don't see the harm in asking how this all works? And I'm still working out what to do with the photos..... Thanks to some advice from other photographers I have a few things to look into and am getting things figure out as to what I need and such...... http://www.tanyaeverettphotography.com/

And what the heck is wrong with my local paper putting together something that proves that I worked for them in the past for different things?? I am fully aware that there is probably no chance in my getting accreditation for this concert, there are going to be 100's of other photograhers there that have done this before..... But if you want to learn something new, you've gotta ask where to start and take things from there.... Yes I would love to do it and have press access to the concert, it would be amazing... I would love to have someone say "Sure come shoot for us....." or whatever the case my be. And if that happens great!!!! I'll be thrilled!!! If not then that's fine too, chalk it up to a learning experience and take it from there..... Word... Jay

Believe it or not, worse things are happening. Last weekend I was shooting MTB World Cup and Nikon was one of sponsors. Next to cycling World Cup they organized Nikon Solution day or something like that. Perfectly fine thing, if they wouldn't push it through to get 100 photo bibs... 100 photo bibs, when accredited photographers got maybe 30 of them. 100 photo bibs for people who were never on race before, and who have no idea how to behave there... Ok I'm gonna end this, especially since I wrote about this on my blog, so if someone really feels like reading feel free PhotoSI
