When shooting landscapes the most important thing to consider is depth-of-field.
As long as you are using a tripod, use the lowest ISO you can (usually 100) for the lowest noise and best quality possible.
If you are handholding and the light is bad, you may have to wind-up the ISO to get the DOF you require.
Thats not to say you can't ue a shallow DOF in a landscape shot, sometimes this can be used to good effect, but you should still try and use the lowest ISO you can.

Personaly, when it comes to landscapes, I never shoot anything above 100 ISO; film or digital. In fact, I shoot Velvia 50 before and during sunrise; just have to make sure exposure isn't too long due to reciprocity failure. :)


If it's stationary or moves, I shoot it. However, no amount of love or money will get me to shoot a wedding or any other special occasion.

with tripod i always use ISO 50 and ISO 100.
