I own a 350D as well and yeah theres a little bit of a rattle when you shake it. Theres an orientation sensor (so the camera knows if you're shooting portrait or landscape..) plus all the mechanics inside the camera. Its normal!

J I have a XT for sale that hasn't gotten much response in the POTN Marketplace in spite of the fact that it's been very lightly used, is like new and will be in the box with all the accessories. The best price I've found on a new XT body was $389 plus shipping.
