Hi.
Is there any benefit using circular polarization filter for portraits, even indoors?
Just curious.

I found it always helped cut down on reflections, shine of people's faces, glasses, etc. When it comes to photography I'd say It would help with the shine people have naturally. Once you hit them with the flash the oil on their faces really becomes evident. As far as eye glasess in portraits it may have some use but a bit limited. I figure most people ask the person to take of the glasses, tilt the head, or use 2 strobes to create an x pattern and cut out the reflections. Generally I found that using the PL really help define the colors better. I've used a PL filter on my 85 1.8 outdoors for a few times and I like the effect it had on people (+ it cut down on the light which helped when you try to use the lens wide open). Great. I will buy an 85mm 1.8 this month, would love to se exaples of one shot from that lens with pol filter on.
