I know, I can't believe we haven't planned a get together for 2008. Oi.

Ya know, my plans are all set for Yosemite still. We will be there June 8-9 (mostly the 9th)
Anyone who wants to meet there would be more than welcome. It would be fun!
I realize it's quite the drive for only a day meet, but it could work. ;)

You calling me a jack ass?

For the record, when I am "around" the forum, posting randomly and what not, I keep up with the posting when I am at work. When I go home though I don't catch up there nor do I catch up between visits when I go for days without appearing. i DO follow the day when I am here though. I know I miss a lot but I am too busy to follow 100% of the fun.

Say what? If you could please repeat it, it seems to have been lost in all the quotes. :p

Jack ass is tame compared to a lot of the names I have been called in the past.

I hear they actually travel to America for an extensive immersion study. They then go back to their native languages when they return, using words such as yggdrasil and such...

Ho ho! OSHA is here, ergo, I can't work on the equipment... because some of the safety features are missing, and ... well... OSHA doesn't like that, so the machine had to be locked/tagged out :(

Yep, not sure about the 10D, but the 20D, 30D, 40D and 5D all take the same battery, that is a great thing.

Nice to know. if i ever upgrade my batteries will still work for any camera I ever plan on buying....

Question for you all.. What do you think of the Xsi going to SD cards? Is Canon moving that direction too like Nikon? I hope not, I have a LOT of CF cards and if they move their newer bodies to SD I will be upset. :(
