I really like the color version Chris.

Thanks. I did the sepia to try and hide the fact that there was some motion blur in his (her?) head.

for fireworks, I shot this whole gallery (I think) on F11, iso 100

http://lcimages.zenfolio.com/p442718248/ (external link)

edit and I used a tripod because several of these shots are over 5seconds long but the best shots are 1-3 like Zane said :)

Nice

Hey Zane, I went shooting with Mike (Poppie Guy) today and took a couple of shots with you in mind. Your name even came up. :)

Any idea how old this guy might be? He seems very young.

Thanks:D Cute shots. I would say maybe 6 weeks give or take a few. It is still very bony in the ribs and the mane and tail are still all curly like they have been wet for the last 10 months.

This one is older. It is starting to grow tail and mane, is much more filled out, and not sticking so close to mom. Pretty shots.

I was thinking this one was a bit older. The other one totally stuck by mama. Didn't get more than 3 or 4 feet from her the entire time we watched.

That's typically how Dan and I shoot! ;) Often we'll pull over and get out but sometimes we stop in the middle of the road... I've even been known to shoot while standing up in the sunroof... Like I did for this shot! ;) hehehehe

Imagine you are not shooting anything but the room in it's ambient light. Well the background will be exposed but your subject may not be in which case you would throw a little fill flash on them. That said I suck at it.

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p
