Oh I see. So it's going to be like that blanket I started crocheting for my little sister when she was born.
I didn't finish it, and picked it back up again when I was preggo with Marian, but I didn't finish it then either. I attempted to finish it for both of my boys, then a few nieces and nephews, but it remains in the closet. Mostly not done.

It has got to be the longest project I've ever started and not finished, but kept.

Just had to say, that certainly is long- but my friend (the boys' Aunt F) has you beat. She started a birth sampler for my youngest. It is 26 years later and she still hasn't bound it and framed it. She had most of the needlework done before he got here- just needed the statistics. she can point to the precise location of the item. she just hasn't finished it.
I think my kids believe I am taking after Aunt F. . . their christmas presents are still under my desk.
