Lonnie, so... did you get next day shipping? ;)

No. It'll probably be at least a week before I get the camera. Maybe longer, because of the holiday weekend. The checks I deposited didn't clear immediately, like my deposits usually do (probably because the total was so large), so I couldn't pay with my debit card. So, I had to send them a check. I didn't want to put it on a credit card, even if I was going to be paying it off right away... I don't mind waiting.

The computer will take a week or so, also. It's a custom build, not a pre-assembled PC.

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

Maybe you still have layers? Flatten the image, then it should let you save as a jpeg. I'm assuming we're talking Photoshop, here.

At first glance, Crissa, I thought she had some sort of distended abdomen. It took me a minute to realize it was her knee.
Can you crop that part out?
I like that the cross is in focus though. Thats a neat idea. :D

G'mae all.

Well, I had a load of quotes stored up but my HDD's were overheating and I had to shut down and lose them. I'm glad I recovered this one on RRTP though...

OK, all you computer gurus out there... Help me out here.

My editor wants me to statrt uploading my finished images to the paper's FTP site, instead of sending them to her by email and I need a good FTP application. She said she has something called Ipswitch... I'd like something that is easy to use and won't cost me an arm and a leg if I have to buy it.

I see you've already been pointed to WS-FTP. Another couple to consider ththough are Core FTP and Filezilla. I use Core FTP all the time and I've heard good things about Filezilla. Best thing? Both are free.

And folks - those that don't catch up in RRTP - Scott (Timbernet) posted an excellent insight. Unfortunately, it's also his announcing him taking a break from the forum. :(

Don't you still have the original files stored somewhere?
