Oh cool! Any rules? Can I do with them as I wish? :)

no rules! What's the point of a gift with restrictions.

  That's funny. And I'm glad that I stopped over in RRTP again, some nice shots there. :D

Mark, your post to Scott was spot on. Well said.

Ever go through your collection of shots on Smugmug or wherever and think, "OK, maybe I should just make all these galleries private so no one can look...."

Going through somewhat of a photo phunk lately....

It's poisoning yer brain. Stop drinking it...

Jeez, I find one of the best photos I've ever seen here on POTN only a week or so ago. It was one of Scott's. It's my desktop wallpaper at home and work, now. But suddenly he feels inferior, and so much so that he's disabled PMs and emails before he said his goodbye because he doesn't want to hear our lame-ass comments.

And, now you're feeling inferior?

Jeez. I thought we were all friends around here.

Don't even bother replying. I'm going to bed. I won't read the responses.

Should I have turned the sarcastic filter on first?

Don't even go there Mr. Pirate. Don't.

I have a computer question. Lonnie, are you still up?

I'm going to Mom's for a few days and her modem isn't wireless, so I got a router. (Netgear)

I've never used a router before... but these are my thoughts.

I want to be able to take it to Mom's, use it while I'm there, then bring it home with me.
Is is easy to just plug it in for a few days, then unplug it without causing any issues with my Mom's stuff?

I want to leave her desktop wired. So my configuration would go like this:

Cable from desktop to router.
Cable from router to Modem.

That's it, right?

Also, my big question:
Do I put the 'installation' cd in my laptop, or in mom's desktop?

Cat, better give him a smack just to be sure. We'd hate for this to stick.

For the record though, low tide bugs me. :p

No, you put it in her microwave, turn it on high for about four minutes and have your camera ready.

No, no, no. Low tide is great. That's when you get to see all the stuff like tide pools. Although, snorkeling over the top of submerged tide pools is really, really cool.
