Ever go through your collection of shots on Smugmug or wherever and think, "OK, maybe I should just make all these galleries private so no one can look...."

Heck a good third of galleries on my site are private :-)

In your case I would suggest that hiding your work would deprive more people than it satisfied. (like hundreds as opposed to one ;-)a )

LOL! You guys are the only people who laugh with me about my 18% gray dog. I tried to tell my mom about it, and she gave me a courtesy smile, but she so didn't get it.

I've got a hat that says 18% Grey on the front, but most people think it means my hair...

you guys remember "the Inspector" (from the pink panther cartoons?) I just found out all 17 cartoons were FINALLY released on one dvd. I'm beside myself...they were so funny!

I've always wanted to get the full set of "The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show" on DVD, but it's confusing just what is what because of the way the show moved from network to network and was renamed.

I haven't gotten my gear wars book yet, but when I ordered my own photo book last summer from blurb I didn't like the size of the photos and found some were not as sharp as I had made them. I want to do a book for the christening, any suggestions?

I have looked at lots of different companies, but haven't ordered from any of them, so I don't have much to offer.

There are SO many places that make books now... but I've heard that there are some that are just horrid quality.

I like the Blurb books.. I have the POTN book from last year (hardback) and Dan's book (softback).
I've heard that MPix does a decent book, but I've never seen one.

I did that wedding book through blurb. I made up the pages ahead of time and uploaded each page as a single jpeg...10x8 @ 300 ppi that way the layout was exactly as I wanted. It turned out very nice.

I believe that's how we did the POTN book too. None of the blurb layouts gave us exactly what we wanted so it was all done in PS.

That sounds like an option Permi, I used their book software and found that some of the photos were just WAY too small.
