and that's funny because I didn't mind standing in the same spot shooting the rodeo....wonder why?

'Cuz while they may enter from the same spot, there's no telling where they're going to go after that . . .

Oh, those guys. Yeah, OK. Maybe it's just me. Now, girls in chaps, that's a different story.... ;)

Somehow, I don't expect to see a TR sketch of that concept . . . :{)#

Perhaps he's happy to finally be out from under wraps? You have no idea how hard I am trying to NOT make a joke about the smoke comment...

You too?

Horse suffering (external link) caused in part by the knee jerk passage of the horse slaughter bill. Most horse organizations and vets predicted this and were against it but animal "welfare" groups pushed it hard on emotional grounds:evil:

Yep - most of their agendas are wrapped around getting rid of all domesticated animals by making the burden of ownership too onerous.

They pushed through a law in Virginia that all vets need to report the animals they gave rabies shots to. The counties would then cross-check against their license records and send out license notices to the owners. Of course that's going to get people to stop getting the shots. And our rescue group got license notices for a dozen or so rescues which we didn't need to license under VA and county law because the vets were required to report and there wasn't anywhere to indicate they weren't owned by the individual who brought them in, or exempt from licensing requirements.

It actually is, unlike yesterday - need to get out and see what wildlife the dogs don't scare off before I get within camera range (considering they were with me for those deer shots last weekend, that shouldn't be a problem).

Ok, I have one more thing to say, then I'll drop the Joshua drama.

He is in SUCH a good mood. Seriously, he hasn't been this sociable and un-grouchy for months.
Huh.
Wade talked to him this morning about everyone making mistakes and having to get back on the horse and ride on.

I really am shocked at how he is behaving. Really.

Wow. Boys are so much easier than girls. Marian would still be so mad at me that she'd have smoke coming out her ears.

Nooooooo!!!! Don't stop sharing the Joshua drama!!! I'm taking notes!!!!

*looks around living room...* Whew! I got off lucky... two boys... ;)

*random observation*

I used a new lotion today that I've never used before. It was a Mother's Day gift from one of my students.

I keep getting a whiff of it and thinking to myself, "ooh, what is that smell? It's nice." Then I remember it's me.

It's TOTALLY different from anything I've ever worn before, and it's not really my style. It keeps surprising me.

Too funny Cat... I've done the same thing though!

Permagrin wrote in post #5633661 (external link)
lol! That really cracked me up, visualizing you walking through the house "what's that lovely scent?? OH! It's ME!! Dat's right!! Who's that girl that smells so nice...yeah...it's ME!"

IMAGE: http://www.v-rodforums.com/forums/images/smilies/rofl3.gif
That cracked me up Lisa! My boys kept asking me what was so funny.... hehehehe :rolleyes:They just wouldn't understand!

It's big and scary ... and coming right at you!! AAahgh!!

(The one immediately before that went horribly wrong.... If I were to post it I would join the ranks of Jim and Neil (Was it Neil?)

Yep. Wife loved the collage, she thought it was really cute.

Hmmm, haven't seen Jen's flat Stanley yet ...

Sawwry! It's all packed ready to go, I was going to overnight it but then ended up in the ER... is school out already?!

Zane, side story, just for you...

I have 6 rose bushes. 4 of them have produced blooms so far, and so far all of them are red or pink.
A few days ago the 5th bush had a teeny bud.
Then it started to open... it was yellow! My favorite rose color.

Gorgeous bud. Little and perfect.
I was watching it like a hawk.
Waiting for it to bloom to just the right amount of openness for a photo.

Any guesses as to which flower Joshua cut and was taking to his 'girl'??

That is TOO funny!! Awwwwwww and oh so sweet!

cfpackerfan wrote in post #5633921 (external link)
I know, it's kinda cute.

He said that he was just going to put the rose on her window sill.. it was supposed to be a surprise. No meeting.

Did I tell you that the cop, when he picked Josh up and got his story, actually drove Josh to the girl's house and let him leave the flower before bringing him home?

Hehehehehe That is TOO cool! ;) hehehehehe

Yes he is. And he enjoyed a breakfast of turkey bacon, eggs and toast served with lots of kisses cause he's my hero!

Hmm I PM'd him the day after the "fun and games" and have not had a reply :(

I sent him a PM with a link to an HDR Irish castle shot, told him it made me think of him. He liked it and said thanks for thinking of me. Nothing too deep.

Whoa cool! Last report I saw there were over 350 fire fighters on scene and multiple collapses but thankfully no injuries reported.

I was reading on sigalert.com that there was a bad accident near my home, too. Sounds like a carbon copy of the one I witnessed in April during my trip. At about 5am someone in a white Ford pickup was weaving in his lane then rolled multiple times in the center divider. The coroner was called, so I guess he didn't make it.
