I've never watched the Springer show long enough to know he has a minion. I've never heard of Steve. I suppose that's a good thing.

Steve is that bald guy...the body guard that would break up all the fights.

Oh, those guys. Yeah, OK. Maybe it's just me. Now, girls in chaps, that's a different story.... ;)

 You have a story and keeping it from us? Do tell!

Ok, I have one more thing to say, then I'll drop the Joshua drama.

He is in SUCH a good mood. Seriously, he hasn't been this sociable and un-grouchy for months.

Well, when guys are in a good mood.....uh....nevermind.

Okay bad day thread HERE I added a few suggestions in Zane fashion just to avoid the fatal wreck, arm in a combine kinda shots.

Nice idea for a thread....now to see if there are any shots that I have that can fit there.

Zane, side story, just for you...

*sigh* No side stories for anyone else? :(

cfpackerfan wrote in post #5633921 (external link)
Did I tell you that the cop, when he picked Josh up and got his story, actually drove Josh to the girl's house and let him leave the flower before bringing him home?

Josh should write a thank you card to the officer

Crissa, I have the 50 1.4 and I love it. It doesn't get as much use as it should, but when I do use it it shines!

same here. As well as the 85 1.8. When I need a fast lens in low light, I don't hesitate to use these (they have great IQ and do exactly what they are supposed to do), but on an average, they get the least use (except my macro) in my bag.

I am using the 50mm more and more. In fact it is almost fixed on the camera.

I had a problem with the 50mm f/1.4 in that the motor died about 14 months after I bought it. I traded the broken 1.4 for a new 1.2. But the quality of the f/1.4 was excellent. And if you are prepared to use your feet to "Zoom" it is a really great lens.

I used the 50 1.8 for most of my baby portraits and love it, I would prefer a faster focus tho. The 85 and 135 would be for performance shooting tho I think the 85 would be the last purchase if I get it at all. So the 50 would just replace what I have, the 135 would supplement my 70-200.

Sounds like you've got it well thought out. The 135 is a fantastic portrait lens. At least I think so.

I think the 135 would be great to have.

I like the 100 Macro for portraits, but it focuses SO slow.

My 100 macro is lightning fast. Do you have the older model?

(And I agree that the 135 is fantastic. Lisa let me use hers on the tulips and it was awesome)

yeah, originally I tried my 90mm macro for portraits with the same issue. Do you have the new 100mm macro or the old one? Dan's old one focuses really slow but TD says his new one is pretty fast.
