Same guy who wrote Alice In Wonderland

Lewis Carroll wrote Alice in Wonderland, when he was on a drug trip

CS Lewis wrote the Chronicles of Narnia and didn't do drugs :)

Oh darlin. No. No no no.

That was Lewis Carroll.

Narnia is C.S. Lewis.

TOTALLY different.

That would totally suck if the old movies were lost.....hope they had fireproof rooms or something.

I agree...that would be a huge tragedy!

I never even heard of Chronicles of Narnia until the movie(s) came out. And I've still not seen them or read the books.

Me too. ;)

thomascanty wrote in post #5636966 (external link)
Ah, now they're saying the film archives are safe. The videos that are burning are replaceable...

That's good...hope they are right on that report.

thomascanty wrote in post #5636966 (external link)
That would never happen. At Disneyland, big sections of the parks are usually closed at any given time for construction and refurbishment. They've even closed all of Fantasyland and Tomorrowland on a few occasions for complete overhauls. They never discount the ticket price because of closures. Why would Universal be any different?

You are probably right....wouldn't want to put any dents in their money making and not provide a lasting experience with no fire smell and carcinogens lingering in the air

eh...they are both Lewis.

Yep. Along with MANY others.
If you liked The Screwtape Letters, you should read Randy Alcorn's "Lord Foulgrin's Letters". It's a newer version of the idea, and he gives all credit to CS Lewis, even mentions him in the book a couple times. It is fantastic.
