Elinchrom D-Lite

I'm just tinkering with the idea of getting something like this, D-Lite Kit, $799 and free shipping. Any thoughts or experence?

Do a search on D-lite,there are numerous posts about 5 pages back about Elinchrom D-lites.

D-Lites are fine. Light controls are excellent. Buy the 4's - more power. Don't strip the nut which handles the lights elevation by over tightening.

Make sure you buy the Mark II version which has fans - still some old kit stock around (B+H I hear).

The D-2 lights are great for home and small studio. The D-4's may be to powerful in this situation and you may not be able to reduce the power significantly. If you do expand your studio later as I have, the D-2's will be perfect for the lower end power such as highlights etc.
