Granted if you want it customized it will cost you, but you'll pay for what you get.

There are some great ones at Free JAlbum.net - excellent galleries & now has free hosting, too. A lot of the skins are made by users & I'll bet some would help with changes to them. Ask in their forum.

I don't have a photography site there, but my web business is through Homebuilder.com.

I have been very happy with their customer service, the pricing is very competitive, and they have 1000's of premade templates you can easily tweak into being your own with their webdesign software that comes free with their service.

I know they have photography templates, but that may be something to look into. I liked the ease of tweaking a template and making it *mine* without designing one from the ground up, their software was intuitive. That being said, I don't use it for photography so I haven't looked into those specifice templates, but it may be worth looking into.
