You've got one at the end of your bill ;-)a

We had the chance to welcome a rare visitor last weekend: a spoonbill. These birds are seen just a few times every year in Switzerland. Luckily for me, this one stayed for a while and I was able to get some shots of the feeding.

All shots are with 100-400 and 1.4x TC (Tamron). Most of them are manually focused...

Nice shots DDA. Where were they taken, as I've been looking around for somewhere in CH to see some different birds.

Those were taken in Geneva. From ZH, you could go to Klingnau where I go regularly.

Excellent series. I never knew they were after fish, always thought it was worms or little things living in the muck. Beautiful shots.

Thank you Mitch!

Chris, tell me if ou manage to get a shot of the kingfisher there. I've been after them for quite some time, always see them flying quite far away, but didn't manage (yet) to get a decent shot. And since I got my TC, they stay much further away
