I saw that deal at Roberts too and kept going back and forth on deciding. Putting it in the cart taking it out. Then after an hour of indecision they were out of stock. I guess it wasn't meant to be. I keep waiting for some Canon rebates. Anybody hear anything about spring rebates?

I kinda miss S.B. (1980-85), but needed a bigger place to breathe so I took off to Berkeley, my kind of place...

By the way, I just started reading this thread as I'm thinking about getting a 40D myself (I'll make my decision this coming Monday when the spring instant rebate starts). I noticed that in your delivered box, there was a battery charger. Was that included with the order for the body or did you order that separately?

Bettery charger was included, I thought battery charger is included in every Canon DSLR?

vincewchan,
It says 40D with Kit lense, but I only bought a body from Roberts Imaging and bought 17-40L separately. 17-40 is awesome walkaround lense IMO, thought about 16-35 but after some research 17-40 is as good as 16-35 MKI if not better. By the way, are you a member over @ World Fitness.com? Your avatar looks familiar.

Nope I'm not a member of worldfitness.com, I haven't heard of that place either. My avatar is a picture of myself... now I'm curious, did someone steal my avatar?

very interesting...I was part of the Team Transport once, attended HIN Pomona once with my Twin-Turbo'ed FX35...One of my buddy drives clean a$$ White S2K..his name is Ian...and the other drives Supercharged IS350 was featured in last month's Modified. I don't think I'm registered in either s2ki.com or honda-tech.com LOL weird...but I did have Acura TSX before and was memeber @ Acurazine? Pheww I don't know man~ haha

fisheye is just for experimenting, I'm sure I will get rid of it soon or later. what I really want is 85mm 1.2L.....expensive...
