Here's a couple from my nephews little league game. I had rented the Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 to test it out. Had to do the standard shooting through a fence but I don't think it turned out too bad.

Other opinions may vary, but I think the setting sun/orange cast adds to the richness of the photo. Also, how do like that tamron 70-200 for sports. I've been considering this lens, maybe even renting out like you did.
