Cliché - Post Yours

I don't know about you but I'm tired of seeing the same old crap people (and photographers) take interested in.

Here are a few to start... Post yours...

- Stand if front of something when taking a pic
- Tribal people pics
- Old wrinkly people
- Red rose & black and white bride

I can almost see your point but the way I see it, most of the time it's not what YOU want to see as an on looker on a forum. Some of the things you listed are more commonly done by beginners (such as myself) and not pros. But IMO I think a lot of it is done trying to learn. Maybe I'm a little high and to the right by thinking like this, and now I don't even remember where I was going with it...

HDR. Sorry to its fans, but I hate it.

selective color.....but it sells

Next thing I'm going to do is to stand in front of a wrinkly duck sitting on a stump, capture it, and make a selectively colored HDR image out of it. Ha-ha.

To add to the list though, I guess over-angled shots are slowly starting to annoy me. (those that are deliberately not nearly level)

Sunsets, trees, cats, dogs, birds, bugs and waterfalls

Threads like this by people complaining of pictures taken by other people. I have one advice. Don't look at them then if it bothers you so much!

Don't get me wrong. I'm not talking about this forum. Just in general...

Milky water effect. Unrealistic.
