OK, Maybe I'm a little more entertained than I should be. Just got a big ol' box of Crayolas and they have their 8 new colours. One of which is the colour awesome. It looks kind of orange as a crayon, but a bright coral pink when you use it. Awesome has a colour!

So now, if you want to hold awesome in your hands and can't afford a 400 f/5.6L you can go out and get yourself a pack of Crayolas instead.

That is so flipping cool! I'll never give up my love for crayons. I just have a bit of an OCD issue with them. All must be in order and have a realtive sharp tip. (We won't even get into my Lego issues.) When one breaks, the whole box gets donated to the school and new ones get brought in.

I know I'll be making a stop to get a new box this weekend! Which count box was it in? The 64?

Almost a year later and I think it's time to settle this. My insanity is fueled by mass amounts of coffee. Plain and simple. I think my inane desire get pleasure from the simplest things in life makes me a bit odd, but not really like crackhead odd. :p

Yeah yeah, sorry, didn't have a camera available. :) Not sure my cell phone would do. I'll get a pic tomorrow.

Oh and yup, 64 count box.

Here you go, the colour of awesome. Or as close as I can get to it under mixed lighting. You'll notice the crayon itself isn't too far off a certain red colour we all associate with awesomeness. As for its colour in use, I guess its basically pink, but it seems to escape girly pink to hit a nice coral hue.

And then here are the rest of the colours, including bear hug, super happy, and fun in the sun.

You got a 5, nice. I loved my 24 on a film body, it must be really good on the 5. I got a 40, so instead I'm waiting for a small, affordable 15mm f/2.8. Think I may have a long wait on my hands.

WTF!? They are selling "happy ever after" in the form of a stick of colour? I'm going to the store tonight to get me some of that!

Is there a colour labeled "filthy rich" too?

Nah, this was the kids choice colours. Adult choice is next month when we get to see what the colours of sex, fear, lust, annoying boss, and humiliation are.
