Nah, this was the kids choice colours. Adult choice is next month when we get to see what the colours of sex, fear, lust, annoying boss, and humiliation are.

Man...whatever happened to the days of simple "Burnt Umber" and "Flesh" ;)

I want to see a Crayolaâ„¢ labeled "Group Therapy".........

Whatever happened to the days when colors had the names of, well, colors?

We bought a house several years ago. My wife chose "Mission Rose," one of the five colors approved by the HOA. The HOA got really upset when, at meetings, I always referred to myself as the guy in the pink house on Palm Avenue.

They got even more upset when, after five years (and just before we moved out), I repainted the house. The color I chose was "Mission Rose," the exact original color! Of course, all the colors of all the houses in the tract had faded by that time to a virtually universal almost-beige (because of the very cheap paint used by the developer). So my house stood out like a bright pink beacon.

But it was the original approved color, so what could they do?

I used high-quality anti-uv paint, so last time I went by it was still the pinkest house in the tract.

A little less blue than the first, and a little less gingerbread than the second.

Actually, it was a very nice color, just pinkish. Of course, the pinkness was emphasized when all the rest of the houses in the tract had faded.

I liked the house. We'd be there still if we hadn't had to move to be closer to my widowed and disabled mother-in-law (now deceased).

I remember seeing those and thinking wtf? The colors were pretty neat though. My son was able to pick out all the kid's choice crayons.
