Ok, so I've run into a question I must post to all of you. Not about pricing, in fact, I consider this a positive question considering what I could produce.
Having taken photos at a high school lacrosse game, parents are now requesting posters with 4+ photos on them, including a big one in the center. I have no problem making this, in fact I already have a mental image.
However, they are also going to want to FRAME these photos. Why is this a problem?
I would personally, and I think my customers would to, prefer that the frames be easy to find at any store like Walmart or wherever.
I don't want to buy the frames myself, nor do I want to force parents to choose a particular style, color, or anything. Just the size.
I initially thought of 24x24, but it sounds like an obscure, tough to find size.
My question: How big do you normally make your posters? I'd like a common size that holds a few 4x6 ratio photos on the top/bottom and a sizable photo in the center. Of course, the size of the poster itself will also effect how much I sell it for.
Any comments or suggestions? Thanks in advance!
