Hi everyone,

Starting to shoot more studio stuff, and would be interested in what techniques (or software) you use for skin-smoothing. Some ladies can be very particular... :) I am on a Mac, if that makes any difference.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I use Imagenomic's Portraiture plugin for PS, I just use a mask and some layers to make sure it doesn't smooth the entire image.

I use Kodak's Digital AirBrush Pro. It works great and I don't have to spend a lot of time messing with it.

Are you using Photoshop? What version?

You can use plugins like portraiture or kodak's airbrush. Or you can use actions. My set called Magic Skin works similarly to a plugin but with less cost. Feel free to check it out at MCP Actions (external link).
