Looks like practice shot to me. Wish it was sharper. Sideways angle would have been better.

Looks like your shutter speed was too slow. From the Depth of Field on the grass, your subject is in the focal range, you just have a bit of motion blur. Dang good attempt though. Raise the ISO or the aperture to up the SS. And maybe wait a split second to get his planted foot off the ground.

I still like it.

Agree, but I would also crop it very tight to remove/minimize all of the distracting elements in the background.
