Today started out slightly overcast ventually the sun came out nicely. There were at least 100 cars entered with hoards of Caterhams and the rest of the field presented some variety.
Proceedings were brought to a permature end as the competitors were starting their seconds runs, a MX5 rolled at St Mary's. It took some while to sort the car and driver, who was taken by ambulance to the local hospital. With the ambulance absent no runs could take place, by the time it was about to return the organiser called a halt. There would be insufficient time to complete the second time runs.
I was experimenting with settings and using a monopod for the first time in ages. On reflection I could have used a slower shutter speed on most of them to get a bit more movement.
