Suzyb, thanks for getting rid of that flash reflection. You did a nice job.

So what did you do, clone?

Yea, mostly cloning. Some healing brush on the reflection of the cellophane.

Wow, nice job!! I am going to have a tough time doing better than that. I might need more than a day to PP this one before I post it again. I'm just learning the cloning & healing tools.

Thanks again for all the help, Kath

I tweaked the color in Elements 2.0.

Tell me, does Elements 6 no longer have the Color Cast Correction Tool, as Elements 2 has? If not, that is a shame that a very useful tool is gone.

Cloning out the flash reflections is a no-brainer, so I am not even going to bother on this one. Just wanted to take a quick stab at the color.

You must be better than I am as cloning is not a 'No Brainer'.

Cloning is a skill just as color correction and I looked at those bleachers and didn't even try because I knew it would take some work.

Hmmm, Okay, maybe I was afraid of work... Well, WHATEVER!

I ended up spending 10mins with your photo.

Added a slight lens blur, unsharp mask, & blue filter.

I felt it needed to be cropped then adjusted.

? ??? ?

All you have to do is put what you do want on top of what you don't.

For example, on the iteration I posted, I got rid of the reflection over her shoulder. All I did was cut/copied the chair above the one with the flare, moved it down, and lined it up. A little erasing to soften the edges and done.

It really is a no-brainer.

But the question remains (and anyone with Elements 6 can answer it, not just the OP):

Does Elements 6 no longer have the Color Cast Correction Tool, as Elements 2 has?

DOH!! The first couple times when I opened it in raw, I did adjust the temp. But I didn't go as low as 3400 until a minute ago!!

I didn't think that the WB would even be close to being that low. With flash I am usually around 5000 to 5900.

I should have just kept sliding that ol slider down.

You guys are great. :D I can now save my daughter-in-laws Grad photos!!

Thank you, Kath

And if you do not already have some noise reduction software, consider getting a copy for these photos.
