Is there a 1.4 or 2X converter for my Canon 75-300 Lens? Is it even worth it? I realize I'd be stuck around f11 but I want to go beyond 300mm without alot of money.

Check out the Tamron AF SP 1.4X TC (the white model).. One of the best TCs on the market..

But,,,for your 75-300mm its probably not worth it..

Do not quote me on this, but I think that the Kenko extension tubes are compatible. However, it might not be worth the hassle.

Extension tubes are not Teleconverters. Extention tubes are used to reduce the minimum focus distance, essentially turning a lens into a macro lens. There is no glass in a tube.

For the OP...the Tamron SP Pro TC that was previously mentioned will work on your lens. Your image quality will take a hit, simple because the 75-300 isn't the sharpest lens to begin with. You will also be stuck manually focusing it. All that being said...if you can get the camera on a tripod and stop down the lens a bit, you can get usable images with this combination. They won't be great, but they should be usable. The Tamron TC is around $180 bucks plus shipping...it is a bit of a crap shoot, but it is the cheapest alternative to a longer lens.

I knew that. It's late here at work and typed the wrong thing. Thanks for clearing that up.

I wouldn't personally even bother. Trying to MF such a slow lens in a small dark viewfinder when the starting image quality isn't really there much of the time seems a futile endevour. The Kenko Pro 1.4x would probably fit too. The Canon or Sigma ones won't.
