There is a company selling furniture in the UK called LomBok.
All made in asia, there current glossy catalogue is full of images with the same look and fell as yours, Admitedly colour but very muted ones.
When i first saw the catalogue i thought Hmmmm not technically too hot, But i looked again and thought actually these really work and work well.
I think you have a LomBok, certainly not suggesting you copied anything BTW.
I think both have tons of atmosphere, i would be tempted to de saturate the original, not all the way, but maybe make the colour very weak, it worked for the pro who shot their catalogue.

Peter,,,like I mentioned before the colour version is virtually straight out of the camera..It was shot late in the afternoon,,around 5.00pm..The light streaming through the window was very warm in hue..Her skin tones are quite accurate though..
