There was another race here today. Baggs, and Leland both were out so it was in the air who would win. Then along came Furbee and well.... he won. Anyway took some shots all were into the sun so lighting was harsh!:madman:

Yeah the Central Coast of CA is awsome if you ride. lots of DH that is hard and miles of singletrack with no HIKERS. That 2nd to last shot above that is close has a weird BLUE hue in it I cant figure out why? Used Sunny AWB shooting into sun with the 70-200.... weir, here are a few more...

Ugh hardtails. I couldn't imagine racing with a hardtail lol. I feel sorry for that guy.

Cool pics.

A few good grabs. But the frame on the first one grabbed my attention. Do you know what it is?

i dont think any one would be crazy enough to dh with a hardtail.. yikes!! at the same time it would be heck to single track a dh bike hehe. for the most part the bikes i sell are trek 4300- 6500, tho we can get any of them ,, also the fuji MTBs are killer bike for the money and just as good, my shops team uses them exclusivly on and off road. the daul shock interest here is very limitied..

Man, these shots made me smile.... used to ride DH all through high school and college (not that long ago) Had a Surly Instigator with doublewides, dual hayes 8"s, all azonic hardwear and canondale gemini with a Monster T up front, fox shock in the back, north shore cranks, and Nokian 3.0" gazza's on double wides.

Not sure what you're talking about not riding DH on a hardtail - I used to take my Instigator up to Plattekill all the time... I was definitely sore the day ofter though! :) Just took some extra finesse...

But then some goddamn motherf^#$er stole them both.

Then I used the fat insurance payout to get into photography! You gotta take the good with the bad!

Hotness. I used to want an Imp so bad. Almost had one too, grr.

Anyway, I'm going for some DH riding this weekend with some friends, and wanna bring the camera along. What kind of settings do you use? This will be my first time shooting DH.
